On the afternoon of Monday 20 April, H.S.H. Prince Albert II went to the Princess Grace Hospital (CHPG) to meet the healthcare teams and thank them for their work since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic.
On his arrival, the Prince was welcomed by Mr Didier Gamerdinger, Minister of Health and Social Affairs and Mrs Benoite de Sevelinges, Director of the CHPG, who presented the routes dedicated to the reception of patients known as "Covid-19 suspects", as well as those reserved for patients requiring urgent care. These two distinct routes make it possible to avoid any risk of contamination.
The Sovereign Prince also visited the emergency services run by Professor Y. Claessens and Doctor C Perrin's dedicated conventional hospitalisation unit which brings together the skills of pneumologists, cardiologists, infectious disease specialists and radiologists.
He then visited Dr S. Chaillou's dedicated sampling and follow-up consultation unit. Finally, he met with Dr M. Liberatore, Dr O. Keita-Perse, Dr G. Rousseau and Professor I. Rouquette and A. Patak regarding the reorganisation of the resuscitation units, a gradual return to activity and towards a lifting of sanitary and economic lockdown.
