Since June 1959, les Editions Techniques, subsequently Editions du JurisClasseur, and today LexisNexis have been responsible, on request of the Monegasque Government, for the publication of the Codes and Laws of Monaco, as well as of Monegasque jurisprudence.
The new Monegasque Code includes the publication of the Constitution and all the coded texts as well as a vast selection of laws and regulations. This code, through its characteristics and especially its format, fulfils all the needs of the members of the legal profession and contributes to an increased knowledge of Monegasque law ? a distinct legal order, independent from French law but still closely-linked.
