|THS the Prince and Princess celebrated the 20th anniversary of the Principality's accession the UN at the invitation of HE Isabelle Picco, Ambassador, Monaco's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, on 24 September 2013 in New York.
Participants included Anote Tong, President of the Republic of Kiribati, Tommy Esang Remengesau, President of the Republic of Palau, Baron Divavesi Waqa, President of the Republic of Nauru, Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi, Prime Minister of Samoa, and Jorge Borges, Minister of Foreign Affairs for Cape Verde.
This evening enabled Monaco to highlight its constant commitment to protecting the oceans.|
