Upon invitation from the President of the French Republic Mr François Hollande, H.S.H. Prince Albert II will attend the 70th anniversary of the Landing in Provence, to be held on Friday 15 August 2014.
Hosted by Ambassador and Head of Commemorative Ceremonies for 2014 Jean-François VALETTE, the Sovereign Prince will travel aboard the "Charles de Gaulle" aircraft carrier alongside other Heads of State.
After a brief speech from the President of the French Republic Mr François Hollande, the members of the party will enjoy a fleet review followed by a Patrouille de France display before greeting veterans and regional representatives in attendance.
Finally, they will attend a dinner hosted by the President of the French Republic.
