On Friday 24 January, HSH Prince Albert II will go to the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer in Brussels, after becoming its Honorary President.
He will be following in the footsteps of HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium who, with HRH Prince Lorenz, will accompany Him on this visit.
EORTC* (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer), founded in 1962, is a European non-profit organisation which conducts European research aiming to develop, lead and stimulate cancer research, alleviate the treatment of cancer, increase survival and improve patients' quality of life. EORTC promotes research in collaboration with over 300 healthcare establishments in over 30 countries.
The Prince will then meet with HRH Princess Astrid of Belgium for a private lunch in the company of HE Gilles Tonelli, Ambassador of Monaco to His Majesty the King of the Belgians, and HE Evelyne Genta, Ambassador to Her Majesty the Queen of the United Kingdom.
