Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene attended the prestigious Rolex Monte Carlo Masters final on Sunday, April 13. It was a highlight of the 118th edition of the tournament, which saw Spain's Carlos Alcaraz take on Italy's Lorenzo Musetti. After an intense match, Carlos Alcaraz, ranked third in the world, won 6-3, 1-6, 0-6, claiming his first title on the clay courts of Monaco.
Later in the day, H.S.H. the Prince also cheered on the doubles final, won by the Franco-Monegasque duo of Manuel Guinard and Romain Arneodo. It was an exceptional performance against Britain's Lloyd Glasspool and Julian Cash, ending with a score of 1-6, 7-6 (8), 10-8, after saving two match points. This historic victory makes Romain Arneodo the first Monegasque player ever to triumph on the tournament courts, in any category.
