H.S.H. Prince Albert attended the official presentation ceremony for the route of La Vuelta 2026, held in Monaco, alongside numerous dignitaries.
The event was attended by H.E. Mr. Christophe Mirmand, Minister of State, Mr. Javier Guillén, Director of La Vuelta, Mr. Stéphane Valeri, Deputy Chairman of the Société des Bains de Mer, Mr. Jean-Étienne Amaury, President of Amaury Sport Organisation, and Sir Gary Verity, General Coordinator of the Grand Départ.
This presentation provided an opportunity to unveil the main features of the 2026 route and to highlight the close collaboration between the Principality and the organizers ahead of the Grand Départ of La Vuelta, which will take place in Monaco in August 2026.
In his speech, the Sovereign Prince recalled Monaco's deep attachment to sport, and more particularly to cycling, a demanding discipline that embodies strong values. He emphasized the essential role of sport in the education of younger generations, as well as its importance in promoting respect, fair play, and inclusion.

Hasta pronto en Mónaco.
