H.E. Mamuka Kudava was accompanied by Gocha Javakhishvili, First Advisor to the Embassy of Georgia. After being welcomed in front of the Porte d'Honneur of the Palace by the Company of Carabinieri guard of honour under the command of Captain Jacques GILETTA, officer of the Company, Ambassador Mamuka Kudava was taken to the Hall of Mirrors by H.S.H the Prince's Chamberlain, Colonel John JAYET, with Mr Gocha Javakhishvili.
H.E. Mr Mamuka Kudava then proceeded to present her Credentials to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince who was accompanied by the Secretary of State, Mr Jacques BOISSON, Head of H.S.H the Prince's Government, Mr Georges Lisimachio and H.E. Mr Franck Biancheri, Government Counsellor for External Relations and for International Economic and Financial Affairs. After the ceremony, H.S.H the Prince held a private audience with the Ambassador in the family drawing room.
Thus, the Republic of Georgia is the sixty-second country accredited with the Principality. The two States had never established consular relations.
These two States are close in terms of environmental protection, and more specifically the fight against marine pollution.
