On Saturday 30 March 2019 the 65th Rose Ball took place in the Salle des Étoiles at the Monte-Carlo Sporting and this year it was themed around the Riviera.
The evening began with a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld read by Stéphane Bern and which was met with a standing ovation and hearty applause from the 820 guests.
The Ball continued with the traditional tombola and music was provided by Roberto Colletta, the group Les Bouches Rouges and Alessandro Ristori. The dances were choreographed by Cécile Chadutea.
The Rose Ball was founded in 1954 and since 1964 the profits from this annual event have been donated to the Princess Grace Foundation, of which H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover is the President.
The Princess Grace Foundation supports humanitarian, cultural and philanthropic projects all over the world.
